The factory interior on the glass is gelcoat (mine was pink and it drove me
crazy). Behind the head, is a plywwod cabinet front with plywood shelves
inside. These were painted with an oil-based paint.

What did the factory use? I need to paint the area behind the head. Was that
oil or latex?? I am pretty certain that on SallyB it has never been
painted. I have taken the doors off and have them in the garage for
refinishing.
