Roberta,

With this method (3 coats of satin followed by 2 of gloss) what is best
method of maintenance? Can you recoat with one coat of gloss each year
or is it necessary to go through the same procedure of the five coats
each year?

Unfortunately, the Cetol must be removed first to have the Armada look
its 
best.  Also, 3 coats of satin followed by 2 of gloss is a great
combination.
