[Alberg30] stuffing boxes wrenches

FYI the stuff I use isn't teflon. It runs cooler that conventional packing
and reduces friction, without a drip. It changes the existing
"water-lubricated" stuffing box into and "space-aged lubricated" stuffing
box. I've used it continuously for 5 years, never had to make an adjustment,
no scoring on the shaft and a dry bildge. Cost:$60; piece of mind:
priceless.

For what it's worth, shipyard machinists don't like to see teflon packing.
Possibly
because it holds grit with no flushing action and then scores the shaft. It
might just be an issue with commercial, continous use big stuff, though.

Option 2 (and what I have done) is to drill and tap the packing assembly to
accept a zerk (grease) fitting. When laying the boat up for a while, squirt
some grease in it to stop the drip. Then you don't have to be tightening and
loosening the packing nuts all the time.
