Roberta,

Another option you should consider is the high-tech stuffing that
Mike Lehman's using.  It's got a better lubricant than waxed flax
stuffing and can be tightened to the point it doesn't drip.  I
think I may go for that, one of these days.  The dripless systems
sound good, but a little corrosion can make them fail catastrophically.
I'm just not good enough about making regular inspections to
depend on that.
