[Alberg30] cabin insulation

Hello, I am building my interior up from bare fiberglass and I want to 
insulate my hull and deck with as much as 2" of insulation (Im in alaska). 
My two considerations are fire resistance and cost. I believe fiberglass 
insulation would match these 2 requirements but are there any other 
considerations to take into account with its use in a damp environment, 
would it turn into a soggy matt and mold?? thanks, Oh, and about what year 
did albergs begin using pop rivets on the rail? Thanks.
