[Alberg30] Holding tank - group purchase?

Here's the tank installed on Gilleleje #505. I zoomed in on the label so,
hopefully, you can see the model# etc. Although it is a 5057 the label reads
differently ???? The large hose closest to the corner of the tank is the
discharge (with a pick up tube inside to the bottom of the tank); the other
large hose is coming from the head; the two small hoses are vent lines 5/8"
leading to vents on the bow. It is important to have two vents to allow an
exchange of air to reduce odors. These connections should be relocated to
the front wall of the tank as high as possible, because they interfere with
the plywood on the older boats. When viewed from the top the tank is 12.5" x
22". Hope this helps.

The Krakor catalog is actually available on the web as a PDF file and
can be found here:

http://www.kracor.com/support/holdingtanks.pdf

They seem to sell a bunch of different models of various shapes and
sizes. The 5057 is listed at 15.5 gallons (58.8 liters) and it somewhat
wedge-shaped. I'm not sure how well this will come out but the cross
section looks like this:

+------+
| |
| /
| /
| /
+----

16 inches across the top
12.5 down the left side
6 on the vertical right side and across the bottom

It is 22 inches deep (i.e. perpendicular to the screen).

Hope that helps,

I have been reading the posts re: the holding tank with interest. What
I haven't seen are the dimensions of the Krakor 5057. (I looked in my
WM catalogue but couldn't find that model number). I have a holding tank
located under the center forward part of the v-berth. It is out of the
way, but is only nine gallons in volume (my best guess from dimensions).
I would also be interested in the discribed Krakor tank and a group
purchase. But Mike can you or anyone else post the dimesions and
volume? I am not interested unless it's an 18-20 gallon solution.
Thanks.
