[Alberg30] Hull paint

Hello painters,
My A30 originally had a light blue gelcoat, although the transom seems to be a
darker blue. It was painted white before I purchased it three years ago. The
paint job has the flaws you might expect: missed or thin spots, fish-eyes,
sagging. But from a distance it's not too bad, and when sailing you can't see
much of the hull anyway. I decided to just touch up the chips and dings each
year--from docks, crane slings, wayward anchors--with Interlux Brightside, a one
part polyurethane. It has taken some time to pick up the brushing technique,
but when my touched up area is poor, I just sand it a bit and repaint. Fairly
simple, and if you want nice compliments, just varnish or oil the teak rail and
the cockpit boards. People really notice that.
