I bought a 4 rung ladder at West Marine ($165) and had to extend the 
standoff legs. It works great, has two steps in the water so it is easy to 
climb.

The next subject and item I need is the stern ladder  Who has a good source.
Most prefab units don't have good stand-off's for our transoms. any ideas or
manufactures that won't take me to the cleaners?
