[Alberg30] ladder

The 4 step ladder seems to be fine. I did ned to lengthen the standoffs, but 
I forget how much. Towney lengthen his with wood dowel into the SS tubing 
and put rubber boots on the end, I did mine by taking the ladder to a metal 
fabricator and had SS tubes welded to extend the standoffs. Towney's method 
is way cheaper and do it yourself, plus if they are a little too long, you 
can just hack a little off. If they're too short...well, they're too short 
and the ladder will tilt inward making it hard to climb.

Mike,
I would have thought that something longer than a
4-step ladder would be needed to have 2 steps
underwater at the stern. Do you think the 4-step model
is preferable to the 5-step model?
Are the standoffs long enough to work at the stern, or
did you lengthen them (if so, how?)?
