Greg, this probably won't be relevant as the data isn't fresh and it's a
different boat. However that said, about 4 years ago I was contemplating
moving my A.D. (about 9,000 lbs. +) from the Chesapeake to the Puget
Sound region, somewhat over 3,000 miles (altho I never did move it). The
quotes I received were in the $4,000 - $4,500 range. This was with
commercial yacht transporters. That price did include blocking the boat
on their gooseneck trailer as I didn't have a cradle, but not the charge
for the boatyard travelifts involved in hauling out and dropping in at
each end of the trip. So figure maybe a couple hundred more for that.
This may give you somewhat of a ballpark figure with which to begin. Why
not search the 'net for yacht transporters? And you'll find ads in the
publication "Soundings".
