[Alberg30] Gord Proctor

He was a true gentleman and much loved by all of us who knew him in the
Great Lakes Alberg Association - he taught us much and left the world a
better place for his having been. I am truly sad, but heartened at this
dynamic life. A navigator aboard Halifax Bombers with the RCAF during WWII,
he became the unbeatable sailor dubbed Mr Alberg aboard his beloved A-30 Gay
Gordon. He was active with his Air Force Association, the GLAA, and numerous
charitable organizations and his quite demeanour befitted his gentlemanly
reputation and touched us all. Upon first meeting Gordon, my first
impression was of being in the presence of a man of great moral strength,
courage and skill - that first impression has never left me.

John Birch, Past Commodore GLAA
