George,

You must know how grateful we all are for the effort and expertise you
provide to make this forum available.  That goes double for all of us who
live and sail far away from the rest of the group.  Thank you!  As for the
ease (or difficulty, as the case may be)  with which the list can be joined
or left without any assistance, I'm reminded of a funny little twist of an
old saying that my dear old mom used to use, "You can lead a horse to water,
but you can't make him THINK."
