Mike,
I would concur with you from my experience with British Motourcars...
Another DANGER and HAZARD TO LIFE is that if the vibration is consistent and
the harmonics right, your lockscrew or set-screw on the propeller shaft can
come lose and your propeller SHAFT can come lose and on some boats completely
SLIDE OUT THROUGH THE HULL causing CATASTROPHIC LOSS TO LIFE AND LIMB!
