Hello list,

One solution is to use two similar-sized sails on one
forestay.  Make a pendant so that both have the same
luff length and if you have piston hanks clip them
alternately.  I did this on an earlier boat but found
that the setup was too time-consuming for short trips
or where the wind moved around, and lowering them was a
bit of a fuss.
