Lots of mud bottom up here.  CQR  and Danforth anchors work well tides 
run 8 to  15' with some strong currents.  I'd use CQR first if I hade a 
bow roller. My A-30 doesn't so I use a Danforth 13 lb. with all chain 
You' ll be fine. I have a Bruce for a backup but have never used it.
