I'm not at all familiar with your particular engine, but automotive
electric shops rebuild and rewind starters all the time. Assuming you
don't need any obscure parts, that might be the way to go. Maybe you can
find a rebuild shop familiar with that engine, or, more likely, that
brand of starter motor.
