[Alberg30] RE Identification -Hull #'s

We recently purchased an Alberg30 and the plate under the companionway shows 
a Hull  # 30-448.  According to the title that we received from the owner the 
boat was built in 1964.   We had originally understood that it was a 1967 
boat.  The owner said it was Hull #448, but we understand that this would 
place it's building time somewhere in the early 70's.  Is there a best way to 
determine the facts?  Can we still contact someone from the Whitby Boatyard 
to determine the original owner?  We purchased the boat from Pamela Parks - 
her husband Thomas Parks passed away last year.  They purchased the boat from 
Eric Schramm in 1997 out of Milwaukee, WI.
