I would potentially also be interested in a group buy for the bow roller solution, if it's not too expensive. By the way, if you're looking for design ideas, you should check out:

This guy built his own bow roller and it broke in a nor'easter (the 35# CQR messed up his brand new topsides paint pretty bad), so he redesigned it and built a new, improved one using a stainless member for stiffness but a wood facing so it's pretty. 

Even if you're not interested in the bow roller thing, you might find the site cool because he did a total restoration of a Pearson Triton and was extremely fastidious about documenting EVERYTHING he did (which was a lot) and publishing it online for everyone to check out. But if you're pressed for time, watch out, because that site can keep you occupied for quite a while...
