[Alberg30] table storage

Maybe my mounting bracket has been modified too. I have a mounting
bracket similar to the one in the recent photo that was posted. I also
have a bracket in the cabin sole between two of the cabin sole hatches.
A stainless steel pole is used to support the table from the cabin sole.
When down, the pole has a bracket in the hanging locker.

As for the table, it basically is a "drop-leaf" type arrangement with
all three leafs being about 6-8 inches wide. Centered on the middle
leaf is the bracket as well as four brackets (two on each side) which
slide to hold up the leafs when they are extended.

When the leafs are not extended and the pole support is removed, the
table basically folds up like a "c" folded piece of paper and has a
triangular profile from the end view. This fits on the v-berth shelf.

Hope this doesn't confuse things.

Brian

you really do mean a triangle - right? I just tried it with a piece of
paper and
given the mounting bracket's position, it seems like you do end up with
a
triangle. it does not seem like you could get it to fold like a tri
folded
 letter.

FYI,

My arrangement has been modified because I have a heater installed on
the Starboard bulkhead. I have a table which has three sections. The
middle section carries the floor mounting bracket and is hinged with the
two outer sections. When not in use, it folds into a triangular
configuration which fits easily on the shelve in the v-berth.

Dave,

The table in this starboard bulkhead configuration sits on two small
wooden
"hooks", one on the bottom and one on the top right side. The left side
of
the table is held in by being almost flush with the bulkhead door frame.

To remove the table from the bulkhead, lift up, then pull the left side
of
the table away from the door frame and it then comes out of the right
hook.
Here's a photo I pulled from a video we shot a few weeks ago of our
interior:
