[Alberg30] Gear shift cable

Bill,

Teleflex has purchased Morse.  The Teleflex cable I used on my boat is
smaller in diameter than the old Morse cable was.

Two critical things you should know.  First what is the length of the
cable you are replacing and second save the end pieces.  The new cables
come with threaded shafts at either end and unless you save the threaded
end pieces from your current cable you will most likely have a hard time
replacing them.  

The length is important.  The cable must be long enough to do the job
but also cannot be to long as the cable cannot be run in a tight or
sharp bend.

Fawcett also sells the cables in many standard lengths.
