I converted Checkmate's (pre liner boat) old style icebox to a chest type,
and went from needing ice every 3 days to over a week-although some of that
is due to a larger capacity. Anyway, when I took apart the old box, I was
shocked at the poor insulation. a water logged piece of pink panther
fiberglass was the best part. I figured the concept of Chesapeake Bay
summers didn't translate well into Canadian :)
