[Alberg30] Boat weight? + Thanks to Michael and TK

Hi there,

Whitby Boatworks claimed a weight of 9,000lbs; but I don't believe that.
Over the years in the business I have come across huge variances in the
thickness of the hull & deck lay-ups ie: very thick in the transom where it
really should be thin and vice versa - not really a reassuring thing but for
the fact that our boats are generally thicker and heavier than intended!
In the business the A30 is considered to be heavily built rather than finely
built.

I've figuered the true disp to vary between 10,000 and 11,000lbs. Yes,
water ingress could account for a surprising amount, but I'll bet your
measurement has a bit to do with the calibration of the scale .13,000 seems
quite high.
