I reread an old article in Chesapeake Bay Magazine featuring both those
magnificent and wonderous Alberg 30's as well as a feature on the lovely
Philip L .Rhodes designed Pearson Vanguard! Wow! What an issue!
Last summer, I think in June or July, I drove from Cincinnati to sail
with my friend, Dan Pfeiffer, and his two year old son, Alex, aboard
their Pearson 10M from Georgetown to Wooten Creek to Galesville...we had
a Pearson raftup with the Pearson Chesapeake Association and througholy
enjoyed meeting other Good Old Boaters!
I was saddened to see no Alberg designed boats - most of them were by
Bill Shaw...
A character, Steve Peltier, sailed a nice black hulled Pearson 40 that
looked quite sleek
Scott Wallace, Roue designed Bluenose 24 Canadian sloop, HELL-DIVER, a
lean mean racing machine with full keel with much forward cut
away...23'6" LOD, beam of six feet
