[Alberg30] Cutless bearing?

Randy,

I presume your boat is on the hard.  If you
	1. remove the prop
	2. remove the two bolts holding the "tailpiece"
	3. UNSCREW the tailpiece
you can take it to a machine shop to have the old cutless bearing
pressed out and a new one pressed in.  Or, if you're inclined and
have suitable equipment, you can do so yourself.  Be sure to drill
the holes to let the water in.

I'm no expert on this, but I don't think you should feel much of
any movement of the shaft.  Any movement gets magnified when the
RPMs are up.
