Hi,
I was wondering if you had consulted Cornells book on passage making?

Sounds like a fun adventure to me. My only comment is you should leave a
little earlier in the season. In 1981 I left New York and coasted down to
Florida, leaving on Columbus Day Weekend (Thanksgiving for you Canadians). I
did a combination of inside and outside and ran into 4 real storms before I
got to Charlotte Harbor (west coast of Fla). End of October / November is
the start of Noreaster season. You don't want to be near the Gulf Stream
then.
