[Alberg30] Mast Beam Material

It's 6061 grade, I am not sure if this is for strength or corrosion 
resistance or both. I would be interested to hear from more n=knowledgeable 
sources on the different grades and why some are better than others in a 
marine environment.

I know there has been a lot of discussion about this repair in the
past.  The last discussion I believe was about the grade of aluminum
that should be used.  Does anyone recall the grade that is recommended.
Is the grading system primarily about strength?
