[Alberg30] Info on Hull # 127

No specific info to #127 other than, as a early model, it was very well 
constructed with glassed in bulkheads, and a masonite (pegboard) cored deck 
which has proven to be very strong. A lot has happened to that boat in the 
past 35 years, if was mostly good then the boat is as good a the day it was 
built, if it was bad the boat could be a disaster. Things to look for are 
deck delamination (esp cockpit sole on this vintage), main beam sag (easily 
fixable), rudder fastenings and general bottom condition. An engine can cost 
from $2500 (rebuilt A4 or Gray) to $8000 (new installed diesel). I can't 
give you any thoughts on wire rigging costs (the mast and boom are fine 
unless bent) but sails seem to run $1000~1400 each, depending on where you 
buy them. You need to take the factors into consideration when detemining 
the value. A bristol condition A30 with no problems should fetch $20~25K. 
Location also is a factor in the value.

Anyone have any info on hull #127.  It is currently in
the San Francisco bay area, and without an engine or
head.  Also, any thoughts on what such a boat might be
worth?  The hull, deck and interior are supposed to
have been recently redone, while the rig and sails are
said to be in only fair shape.
