So now regardless of cast or forged the fact that Don can facilitate you
getting new parts at a fairly reasonable rate seems irrelevant? If you
really want a head spec you will need to specify age of the a4.  Newer
models have a different design, slightly, than the older a4's.
Also if you wish to reverse engineer ... are there any engineerish
volunteers?
