>Raritan really advises a 3/4 inch vent hose with as straight a run
>as possible. In addition, they think that the best way to deal with
>odor is to introduce areobic bacteria that will neutralize the
>anareobic bacteria that live in the waste. They sell a product
>called KO which performs this function. It is avaliable at West
>Marine. they also make a head cleaner that is compatible with KO -
>also carried by west marine.

>George; in the added paragraph #4 wherein you mention the problem with the
>air vents and hoses on the top of the tank, what was the problem? On #303,
>Emotional Rescue, we have a slight odor but nothing else. The idea of adding
>a port and starboard vent hose is interesting. But it would seem better to
>get the vents up higher in the tank rather than on the forward "side". Ed.
