I read the very informative email from Mrs. Peggy Hall, the marine head
consultant. I also have read the answers from the club guru's. I don't
understand what type of thru-hull "vent" is on the outside of the hull, at
the bow, that will allow the entry of sufficient air to effect oxygenation of
the tank but not allow water entry from waves from entering the tank. If the
vent hoses are exiting the holding tank at the top of the tank, are not
exposed in the vee-berth, they are pretty low and subject to a bow wave. Can
you explain what type of vent opening and it's height above the waterline, or
