I ran into the same issue with the Raritan tank. I had a local tank
manufacturer cut 3 inches from the top of the tank reweld the top back on
the tank and plywood wood floor supporting the tank. The installation was
quite straight forward following these modifications.

I have a "group purchase" Raritan tank that I can't fit in #158, a 1966 A30
without a liner. It's just too tall with the fittings and too wide on the
bottom. If any of you with the newer liner boats want to purchase it from
me, pop me an e-mail and I'll ship it out ASAP.
