Scott,

I used a 3M 6800 with 6001 filters, tyvek suit, hood and rubber gloves. If
you smell or taste paint there is a leak in the mask.   I used duct tape to
seal all seams and picked the hottest day in July (not recommended). A day
in the 60's would be ideal, but the paint cured well in over 24 hours. 

I would recommend a forced air respirator, Hobby Air makes one for about
$300 which I found on the web. If you know someone on the fire department a
Scotty Air Pak is what the paint shops use. I didn't try to rent equipment,
if the 6800 didn't work I have scuba equipment which was my fall back
position.

The preparation was the longest part of the job approx. 3 weeks but the 1965
Alberg looks like she just left the factory.
