[Alberg30] Holding Tank Plumbing

I am currently installing the plumbing for the holding tank. Placing the
hoses onto the 3-Way valves and fitting seems to be taking a lot of
pressure. I applied soap and water with little success, the 1 1/2 hose seems
to the most difficult. Does anyone have any tricks they have used to make
this easier?
