[Alberg30] Update: the real "Mary Ann"

Hi everyone--
    
    Thanks so much for all your kind thoughts and words with regard to Mary Ann.  I just wanted to let you know she's fine (along with the rest of the crew of the Comfort), and we're hoping they'll be headed home soon.  We told ourselves last year that we were going to spend all of our energy getting "Mary Ann" in shipshape order, and we want to spend this season learning how to sail and appreciate her, and getting to know you...our immediate goal is the Fall Cruise!! All I need now is for my partner to come home :-)

    The local NBC affiliate here in DC, NBC4, visited the ship, and has been airing a series on her.  You can see the parts already completed at their web site http://www.nbc4.com/comfortatwar/2160112/detail.html
