   Your not crazy.  Fire away !!
The only real question is,  Are you ready to meet the trials and
tribulations, and joys and delights of boat ownership. The A30 is a
wonderful design for cruising and racing (especially if your near the
"fleet" and can race "one design" as Carl intended). It's also a friendly
and capable day sailor.  It is not a rocket ship (as in ULDB) but holds it's
own and is a safe, forgiving design. One of the biggest advantages is this
list and the organization that provides it.  Go ahead, ask a real question
and see what I mean. (sometimes answers are a little slow on weekends
because everyone is involved with their boats, especially this time of year
through the fall).
