[Alberg30] Wood for Spreaders

I think this is true. Red oak is susceptible to rot, wet or dry. 
Painted, high up in the air, it might be okay.

Enough Honduran mahogany to do this job can't be more than $50. Wood 
World in Rockville has it by the pile. I'm sure the wood boutiques near 
Annapolis do, too. Probably twice the price, though.
