[Alberg30] Cutless bearing question

Fellow Albergers,

I recall there being discussion of small holes in the cutless bearing
housing where water could enter and help lubricate the prop shaft. I do
mot recall exactly where these holes were to be found. In the event
these have been filled with bottom paint (I expect that to be the case)
I am wondering if I can clear them with a small drill.

I can clearly see the locking set screws on either side of the housing
about an inch from the aft end of the housing. Also, there does appear
to be what could be an indention right at the base of the housing (on
each side) where it meets the hull which would be in line with the
center line of the prop shaft.

Does it sound like this is where I should drill and if not then where
should I look ... also what size bit would be recommended.
