[Alberg30] Painting the interior - water or oil?

Scott--see note below to Rabbit...we actually got the original steer from
someone here on the Alberg board (my apologies, I can't remember who).

After replying, I saw Mike's note against using water based paints, and
while I certainly bow to his experience (we're rank rookies), I can only
report what we've experienced. The Zinsers has held up well, it's easy to
touch up (we had the portlights replaced which involved having to retouch
some of the paint)...so far so good. I have to admit though, unlike Mike,
I've never had to remove the stuff...

Only disappointment we had was with the icebox..I scraped some old paint
off, refinished with the Zinsers, but it has started to peel...I think the
problem is I didn't properly score the icebox interior for fresh paint.

Hope this helps...

Fair winds,
