[Alberg30] Traveler

Has anyone on this list ever moved their traveler forward in the cockpit so
that it runs across the seat just aft of the companionway, attaching to the
mid-boom vs. the end? Other than going against the racing rules for A30¹s
and occasionally blocking part of the companionway access, would there be
any advantage or disadvantage related to performance in doing this?
