[Alberg30] Bilge Pump Access

I was going to pull my pump out of the bilge in order to check it out.
Of course, it wouldn't budge. It makes sense that the pump is "anchored"
so that it is stable. However, it's a mystery to me how one removes it
without brute force which will certainly break at least the case. A
person would need arms like ET to reach down there. I don't have any
small children either.

So, to the point, do any of you clever folks have suggestions for
getting the pump out? It's a Rule 1000. I'm guessing the bottom case is
screwed or glued to a stationary block of wood. Lighting was poor so I
couldn't sort out the details with certainty.

Thanks in advance,
Dan
