Roger,
   I have a Xantrx (ex Statpower) modified sine wave, ProWatt 700 (older
model) that I picked up at a close out center for cheap. We used it during
our Bermuda trip for recharging a hand held VHF, a rechargeable battery
powered drill, and my crew's Laptop. No problems encountered except my crew
said it took a little longer than shore power to recharge the lap top. (but
it did it just fine)
