[Alberg30] How do I back this boat?

Some problems with reverse boat direction can be avoided by giving the
boat plenty of power. Really push the throttle hard and get her going
fast. Don't be timid. An old Coast Guard Captain taught me this. You
will get a much better response from the rudder. I would practice this
in open water and not at the pier with other boats close by. You'll get
the hang of it right away and then it is safe to back in to the slip at
the pier. Don't be timid with the throttle.
