[Alberg30] TBT is banned for good reason

I hate to see a recommendation for use of Tributyltin (TBT) on this web site.  It is banned because of substantial adverse impacts on the marine environment.  The point of sale is incidental to the impact.  If you buy it for a non-marine use and then use it in the marine environment you are just as culpable of environmental damage as if you had stockpiled and used marine paint.  As major users of our waters, recreational boaters should be responsible and set an example.  BTW, in the Pacific NW extra hard Johnson floor wax is frequently used on propellers. ==> Henry Sharpe, #111
