[Alberg30] When to use polyester and not

I have had trouble in the past with polyester resin not setting up properly
when used outdoors in cool conditions (Temp <10 C), even following the
manufacturers catalyst recommendations. I have never had this problem with
epoxy. I also find epoxy more pleasant to work with because it doesn't smell
as bad as the polyester.

As to the bonding issue: epoxy bonds well to polyester surfaces but
polyester will not bond well to epoxy. Once you commit to epoxy over
polyester you can't go back without grinding off the epoxy first.
