I think, by rule, it has to be sailed "off shore". The areas discussed are 
Bay of Biscay or the Mediterranean. The Kiwis are racing the Swiss boat 
because they defected and are getting paid big bucks. This event is about 
sailing, not national pride.

speaking of which -- why is the Swiss boat sailed by a Kiwi crew?  If the
Swiss win, where will the next race be held?  On Lake Geneva?  Roberta
