[Alberg30] Diesel Replacement

Matt,
It sounds to me like all of your problems (except the exhaust) might be
related. Check the wiring harness between the engine and the instrument
panel. Dollars to doughnuts you've got a problem there. Pay particular
attention to those stupid rubber covered plugs (at least one by the engine
and one by the instruments). Best Electrical upgrade I ever did on my Alberg
was to rip out all the engine harness wires and replace with real marine
grade (Anchor brand) wire.
