[Alberg30] engines.. and a critical question

I was expecting somone to ask this question - Bob, you win the prize.

There were several factors that influenced my decision...

1. I knew we were going to keep the boat a long long time and we use it a 
lot.

2. I could get top dollar for my Atomic 4 while it was in such good 
condition. A situation with dimisnishing returns.

3. The return on investment is better on a diesel, long term, than on an 
Atomic 4 that I would eventually have to spend a lot to keep in top shape, 
becuase of the perception that a diesel is an upgrade. While that may be 
true to some extent, boats with diesels sell for more than boats with Atomic 
4s all things being equal.

The Atomic 4 is a great engine, and I like my diesel too!
