Yes. When I bought mine, it even came with a reel up wire antenna. So far
I've gotten the clearest reception on board when I used a length of wire
with alligator clips on the ends and clipped one onto the regular antenna
and clipped the other onto a chainplate bolt (thereby connecting to my
rigging).
