[Alberg30] Hull etching

Bill,

When I painted #114 this summer I did not etch the waterline prior to
removal. This was a big mistake which required many hours to tape the
waterline and spray the color. I would strongly recommend etching the
waterline before any paint removal.

I seem to remember someone saying that when they sanded the hull on their
A30, they found etch marks where the original waterline stripe was painted.

Is that the case for anyone on this list? If so, where should I look once
the paint is off?
