[Alberg30] Anti-fouling - Ocean grade.

This question is directed to all members of this list who keep their boats in coastal waters as opposed to fresh water lakes.

In about a year from now we will be starting to head down the 'ditch' from the great lakes toward warmer winter weather along the U.S. east coast, and possibly across the Gulf Stream.

We know that in Canada we can no longer purchase, or use, "Trinidad" which has had a good reputation for many years, but we do not know what the best alternative anti-fouling is for use in the ocean. We understand that these changes will shortly take effect in the U.S.A. too.

Our question is: Apart from "Trinidad", what is the current choice of anti-fouling being used by the majority of boats in these salt water areas?

Thanks in advance,

Maggie.
